Carlos was born on November 16th, 1980.  Carlos' father is Miguel Castañeda-Garcia and his mother was Carmen Flores.  His paternal grandfather is Antonio Castañeda-Miramontes and his paternal grandmother was Maura Garcia-Barios. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Salvador, Rafael, Conrado, Miguel, Jesus, Alejandro, Leodoro, Mario, Hortencia, Guadalupe and Carmen.  He was the seventh oldest of the twelve children.  He died due to a medical problem at the age of 1 in December 1981.
