    Died on the same day that her Daughter Maura was married.Manuel was away at the time this happened. Since Maura was only tweve and Manuel Garcia used to physicaly abuse Amada, she knew that her husband would be furious that his duaghter had been "stolen" and had gotten married. She knew for sure that her husband would beat her half to death when he finds out. In all the worrying that she did, she became sick and had a miscarriege. From that she died.
